Why blog now?

I am starting the blog, one of many in my interweb history (none actually used), because I see too much too often that I need to share, and I'm tired of spamming friends on facebook or myspace.

For example:

If you have ever watched YouTube, you will know all the references in the new Weezer video for "Pork and Beans" . . . if you don't get it, I've got more awesome links for you.
